are available for all age groups. There is a Friendship Club which meets at 1.30 p.m. every Monday afternoon (not on festivals), where older members can have tea, go on occasional outings, play cards or Bingo and be entertained. There are other social occasions throughout the year for congregants.
For the youth, there are clubs and activities and the youngsters are encouraged to go away to the various Reform camps during the summer holidays. Young people are also encouraged to go to Israel on various schemes, and some subsidies are usually available.
All the members of the congregation are also members of The Guild which hosts a number of social events during the year. |
