are held on the eve of Shabbat at 6.30 p.m. and there is usually a Chavurah service on the first Friday of each month. After the Chavurah service the congregation meets in the home of a member, bringing with non-meat food, which is shared by all present. After Kiddush, the meal is eaten and a lively discussion is held on a Jewish topic.
Shabbat morning services start at
11 a.m. and usually last for about one and a half hours after which there is a Kiddush and an informal get-together.
Festival services usually start at 10.30 a.m. but times for these services are announced as they do tend to vary.
Services are held in a rather less formal atmosphere and children, no matter how young, are made very welcome, as are all age groups. |
