between men and women in the Synagogue and at services it taken for granted. Women are called to the Torah and given other honours equally with men. This is strictly within Halachah (although many non-Progressive rabbis would try to deny this). Nevertheless, over the centuries, men have seen to it that women have been denied their religious equality.

As a constituent Synagogue of the Reform Movement, women play their full part with men as members in their own right and able to be voted onto Executive and Council of the congregation.
